After submitting your Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Plan, you are requited to attend a "Confirmation Hearing"
- You will need to attend the hearing located at the Bankruptcy Court (Link To Mapquest)
- You will be required to bring certain things to the hearing.
Creditors Can Be Present
- Creditors may attend the hearing
- They can agree with the Plan or object to the Plan
- The Bankruptcy Trustee can object to the Plan
- Objections can be for different reasons
- A Creditor or Trustee can believe that you should contribute more to the plan
- A Creditor can object to their treatment under the Plan (Ex: They may want a higher %; They may want to foreclose; They may object based on allegations of fraud; etc.)
